Heading away and looking for a safe, caring place for your dog to stay? At Remarkable Vets, we provide comfortable boarding for dogs in a purpose-built facility where your pet's wellbeing is our priority.

Located at our Arrowtown clinic, our boarding facility combines spacious outdoor exercise areas with comfortable indoor accommodation, allowing your pet to enjoy both activity and plenty of rest during their stay.

Dogs enjoy supervised play and exercise in our multiple fully fenced paddocks, with regular rest periods throughout the day. Each dog has their own individual indoor kennel with heating and air conditioning, providing a quiet, comfortable space to relax during the day and overnight.

As part of Remarkable Vets, all boarding pets are cared for by our dedicated Kennel Hand and Veterinary Teams, giving you peace of mind knowing experienced animal professionals are looking after them throughout their stay.

We provide quality food and comfortable bedding for all boarding pets. If your pet is on a special diet, you're welcome to bring their own food to ensure they maintain their normal routine.

Before Your Dog Stays

​

To help create a safe and enjoyable environment for every dog, we require that dogs:

• Are over 10 months of age

• Are desexed

• Are up to date with Kennel Cough and DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus) vaccinations

All dogs must complete an introductory boarding or daycare trial before their first stay. During this 2–4 hour weekday visit, we'll introduce your dog to our staff, facilities and other dogs to ensure they're happy, well socialised and comfortable in our boarding environment.

Boarding Rates

​

• Dog Boarding: $60 per day*

• Introductory Trial Day: $45

*Dog boarding is charged by the half day (50% morning, 50% afternoon, with the afternoon charge including the overnight stay). Additional charges may apply for pets requiring intensive nursing care or multiple medications.
