Here at Remarkable Vets our boarding & doggy daycare set up is a very social environment. It is located at our Arrowtown clinic at 1079 Malaghans Road. We have fully fenced paddocks where our dogs can run and play with each other.
Prices: Per Day
Doggy Day Care - $35
Boarding Dog - $55. Dog Boarding is charged by the half day - 50% for the morning, 50% for the afternoon (the afternoon is night inclusive)
Boarding Cat - $30
Daycare/Boarding Introductory Trial Day - $45
Due to the nature of our facility we have a few requirements for dogs to meet before they come to stay with us. We require all dogs to be over 10 months of age, desexed and up to date with their Kennel Cough and DHP (distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus) vaccinations.
Every dog must come in for a boarding or daycare introductory day. This involves dropping them off at our Arrowtown clinic for 2 to 4 hours on a weekday. Here we will introduce them to our staff and our facility and the other dogs. The trial helps ensure they are well socialised, happy to mix with a variety of other dogs, and ensure that they will not be too stressed or anxious in this kind of environment.
We do give regular breaks so they are not running all day. We have a separate kennel building with individual cages where they can come in and sleep throughout the day and in the evening. We provide all of their food and bedding for their boarding stay, however you are welcome to bring their own food if they are on a special diet.
We can cater to senior dogs, and dogs that require medicating and nursing care whilst boarding. This may incur additional costs.
