Having read all of James Herriot's books by the tender
age of 10, Nicky was always going to be a vet. Graduating
from the University of Queensland in 1998, Nicky worked
in a variety of mixed, dairy and small animal practices
in Australia and New Zealand, before moving to Queenstown
in early 2004. Nicky has been at Remarkable Vets since the
clinic opened, initially in a very casual capacity, increasing
to part time as the practice has grown. Her passion is small
animal medicine, but she enjoys all aspects of mixed practice.
In her spare time, you will find Nicky either in the kitchen,
garden or wine cellar or exploring this beautiful region,
with husband Paul, children Lucy and Kane and Bodie the
dog, leaving Vince the cat in front of the fire at home.
Nicky has just returned to Remarkable Vets from maternity
leave after the arrival of baby Kane in August this year.
